For most home buyers, the sale or purchase of a home is the largest single investment they make in their lifetime. Selecting an agent to assist with such an important decision can be complex and stressful. When we decided to consider selling our home, we actually considered selling our home ourselves. We planned to purchase land and build a home. Our builder highly recommended using a knowledgeable realtor to assist with the legalities. With much reluctance, we contacted the agent; Tracy Grubb. We quickly informed her that we did not want to be “hounded” about every property that came along. To make a long story short, we met with Tracy and she came very prepared. She brought information on how to approach the sale of our current home, comps for homes in our area, and guidance for preparing our home for sale. She also suggested options on how to proceed with buying another property. She was an excellent listener. We listed our home with Tracy even though she lived 50 miles away. Tracy provided everything to sell our home. The photographer that took our pictures did an awesome job. We had 3 contracts in the first 2 weeks. There was much back and forth with selling our home in Howard Co. and purchasing another home in Washington County. Tracy worked both the sale and purchase every step of the way. She was always available to us, and she did everything we asked of her. The contracts were complicated, required diligence, knowledge and continually working the changing situation, as the contracts were amended and evolved. Tracy was always on the job. Quickly responding to all requests, questions and concerns. Even after hours. She was always up-to-date with what was happening with contracts, inspections and appraisals. We were never “handed off” to someone else. Tracy had excellent referrals for home inspections, appraisers and legal assistance.
